you see man church is in trouble today the want to and desire to attend church is not there. we have better things to do . there is more to going to church than just sitting in a pew singing a few songs. hear some guy stand up and read the Bible . we attend church to get fed to be encouraged to fellowship.
we are told what to build on Jesus is telling peter when he said thou art the Christ.. upon the divine revelation I will BUILD " MY " Church.
we move on to Paul teaching in 1st corithians 3 Paul writes he is a wise master builder he then writes what type materiel we are to use to build with.
see today if not careful we place more emphasis on the Building. we make it fancy big and beautiful and it should be nice .. but its the inner Church we are the Church. the building is used for us to come together in. we gather material to build with . so we are either building our temple up with Gold silver precious stone . these things represent quality. they came through the refiners fire . they are purified .
the wood hay stubble represents the things of the Flesh . when the fire comes it will burn up like chaff it will burn like a field in July when its been hot temps and no rain.
so today what are we building on and what are we building with ?
