Global Religion: Towards a United World System.
`Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You, fight and war.` (James 4: 1 & 2)
Throughout history man has sought power and greed resulting in fightings and war as God`s word says. Eventually as nations developed more powerful weapons the devastation in human life became horrific.
Thus, after two world wars the leaders of the allies, (Great Britain and America) gathered together 44 countries at Bretton Woods. They formed various International groups and Institutions for various functions that would lead to a United World System headed up by a Global Government – Political, Economic and Religion.
Their goal is to bring Peace and Security, (safety) to the war-torn world.
Political - G 7 (G 8, later G 20) The 7 most powerful nations with the mightiest armies and are the richest nations on earth. They comprise mostly of the `Lion, Eagle and Leopard nations. (Britain and America and Europe with Russia (Bear) at times).
Economic - IMF – The International Monetary Fund. Most countries are in debt to this International Institution. Also, the World Bank and the BIS, (Bank for International Settlements).
Religion- UN – the United Nations. This Institution officially came into existence in 1945 upon the ratification of the Charter by the five permanent members of the Security Council – The United States, (Eagle) the United Kingdom, (Lion) France, (Leopard) the Soviet Union, (Bear) and China.
Under the Charter the function and powers of the Security Council was mainly to maintain International Peace and Security, (safety).
The UN System includes a network of institutions and entities. The largest and most complex is the Economic and Social (Religion) Council, (EcoSoc). It is the gateway for UN partnership and participation by the rest of the world. We will follow how they influence the whole world through these partnerships.
The Nations should have looked to the LORD God for only He can give Peace and Security, (safety).
Next as we look closer at the UN`s activities we will see the Global Religion emerging.
