How do you see the Atonement of Christ then?

they hated Him they wanted him out of the way.. they thought He wanted their kingdom. it was his love that kept him on the cross

Hello forgiven;

Since Monday I'm prayerfully responding to your post. What you posted defines once and for all His atonement for our sin. Jesus reconciled and propitiated us to God.

So what does this mean going forward? We're given the opportunity each day to draw closer to God. We are never fully drawn to Him completely. We are given our lifetime appointments from Him to introduce others to Christ Jesus.

Example, a young pastor in our Church held our first men's Bible study in particular for the younger men. My appointment is to be there to support the class but also an opportunity to begin another study as if I'm personally starting all over.

God bless
you, brother.

1. We're given the opportunity each day to draw closer to God. 2.We are never fully drawn to Him completely.
1do we take that opportunity last sunday night my nephew was ordained. his younger brother who has been in the ministry a few years gave the charge . he made mention of how at one time he was saved and just fine with that.. but he didnt have the relationship he should have. . i have given a lot of thought to that.. how easy it is go through the motions . a little prayer i lay me down to sleep.i pray my soul to keep .. ya know God will not force himself on us.

2 i characterize this as never fully drawn as part of our growth through sanctification...3 stages 1 positional if that is such a word . we are placed into the Body of Christ when we get saved 2. progressive we become a w.i.p work in progress ..growing in grace and knowledge . which never end s until we reach home.. last but not least ultimate /finial we made it home . we get a glorified body we become the finished project

for those who may disagree with me .. makes me no never mind because i know in whom i have believed.. were so busy wanting mans approval . we leave God out of it

Hello, forgiven;

Well said.

So now that your nephews were ordained, will they both become Pastors, serve as teachers, lead the praise team?

God bless you.
