Hmmm...are you saying he's not real or something?
Just curious, I respond better to longer questions. xD

Satan is a spirit. So is God.

We are in a human body. We have a soul, but...it's not good to fight with Satan. We can resist him with God, but fighting with him just hurts us more than it does him.

Believe me, I've tried the "argue with Satan" tactic - you know what happened? He attacked me in my own house. I was on the computer chatting with Christians, and I kept seeing this figure next or over my bird's cages, and then, it walked towards me. I felt a hand on my neck, and when I tried to get up to get my Bible - I was paralyzed.

God is the only one who can really defeat Satan. I hate to say this - but he is powerful...but only when we allow him to control us. I was off guard when that happened, but I prayed and prayed and he left me alone. That's what happens when your RESIST the devil, and he will flee from you.

But...he came back about a week later, but just keep resisting him and he will continue to flee. He doesn't like the Holy Spirit. It works all the time. :)

Good answer Near
Satan is powerful, but with the Blood of Jesus and the authority given to us by Him, satan will flee. But everyone must remember one thing. Satan has been doing what he does for thousands of years and he is good at it. And he never sleeps. He is here to kill, steal and destroy. We don’t “feed” him, just like we don’t “feed” the Holy Spirit. We are fed by the Holy Spirit. When satan comes in, it is because we have an open door and let him in. if we pray and close that door, he has to leave. Just like you did Near.
God bless you all

Yes, your answer was good to, Who am I.
Satan has been doing what he's been doing ever since he was thrown out of Heaven. We're God's creations - and he is trying to destroy us to get to God. You saw what he did to Job - he killed all his children, his livestock, then he covered him in boils.

He also tempted Jesus when he was weak and tired. He didn't come to him when he was completely healthy and fine - he came to him in his weakest state.

He does that to us, too. He comes to us not when we're full of the Holy Spirit but when we're down and depressed, or even off guard. That's why you must pray constantly, he's like a serpent - he waits for the right moment to strike and you have to be observant, because some snake's venom is deadly!

Jesus was lead by the spirit to satan.not satan coming to jesus.satan would be too scared, very weak spirit living of emotions of us.satan is nothing without humans.

Satan is not weak

Hello smellycat

I won’t say you’re wrong, but I will say you’re not quite correct.
Jesus was lead into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. He wasn’t lead to satan, he was lead into the wilderness.

It says in Matthew 4:3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, if thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

See? “when the tempter came to him” satan came to Jesus. He wasn’t scared.

And trust me, satan is not a weak spirit living of emotions of us.
If you still say he is, you should have some Scripture to back it up.

Neutral ground?

ok so they went to neatral ground.

Was it really neutral ground?
Joh 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
Satan is the prince of this world.
And another about being scared.
Job 2:1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.
Satan not only came to Jesus, he came to God Himself up in heaven. That is definitely not neutral ground. God already cast satan out of heaven. Satan wasn’t scared to go to God Himself.

we know this is spiritual.if satan came as a man we would kill him.satan could not be a king while we are here.muppet boy knows this.his kingdom of muppets is not ready yet.when God pulls away then we will see the puppets like the puppet master.

Don't scoff at higher beings. Even though he is evil, you shouldn't scoff at supernatural beings - like it says in...I forget which book.

And, how can you tell that if he came as a man you would kill him? He's the deceiver! He'd put deceit into the hearts of men and they would follow him.

How do you think he was able to trick Eve into eating the fruit of the tree in the Garden of Eden? He's not stupid - he's quite intelligent. Of course he's had his high power taken from him, but obviously he's still himself, and it's not likely he's going to stop what he's doing.

The best you can do, hon, is continue to ask God into your home. Satan will flee from you. :)

You said it all in a nut shell. Holy Spirit is who I want to be fed from and by and do not want to even think of entertaining any other spiriit. We serve a jealous God with no other before Him.

Satan .... you are under my feet in the Holy name of Jesus Christ.

true we are protected from satan.but it is a spirit that controls peoples words and emotions to fullfill his will.imitation God.cheap and nasty.clever maybe but only at foolishness.

Hello smellycat
Could you give us the Scripture you have to back that statement up?

forgive them father, for they know not what they do.

I know exactly what I am doing. I’m asking if you have Scripture to back up what you say.
So… in your own words… let your yes mean yes and your no mean no.
Do you have Scripture or not? A simple yes or no will suffice.
