1 Kings 3:15

1 Kings 3:15 King James Version (KJV)

15 And Solomon awoke; and, behold, it was a dream. And he came to Jerusalem, and stood before the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and offered up burnt offerings, and offered peace offerings, and made a feast to all his servants.

An American English Bible
With Old Testament based on the Greek Septuagint

15 Well, when Solomon awoke, he remembered the dream. Then he got up and returned to JeruSalem; and there he went and stood before the Altar, which was in front of the Chest of the Sacred Agreement of Jehovah in Zion. Then he sacrificed whole burnt offerings and peace offerings, and he held a great banquet for himself and for all his servants.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

This is the ark of the covenant, this symbolized God and would be the house Solomon would build for it to be in. Solomon gave many offerings this shows true worship because this was not because Solomon did anything wrong or was asking for something but worshiping the Lord for what he had just given him. This is a true happiness and a worship that only the Lord can bring out of us.
