A little ditty to start the day

Jesus sees it all

You know:-

When you’ve got the ‘monk on’*
And your like a bulldog with a wasp
You snap at anything or anyone who dares to come within arms length
Wonder who got out of the wrong side of bed

WWJD?

You know you wish you had the opportunity
To star that conversation all over again
The sharp bend was sharper than expected
On your track through life
And nearly wrecked you as you went over the edge
The fear of failure stops you from beginning the trail
And the path before you feels daunting

WWJD

I have not upset anyone
Said all the right things
Kept my faith and promises
To do the right thing
Todays great thus far
Is it time to get out of bed?

Is this why I’m a practising Christian?
I keep getting it wrong
If I practice hard
One day I’ll get it right
TIL then
I keep asking the question
What would Jesus do?

* (UK, slang) To be sullen or bad-tempered.

I have been sitting at my table.. writing a letter... This was a lovely coffee break moment.
