A Non-Offensive Christianity?

If the TRUE message of Christ wasn't offensive, then to what were the religious leaders objecting? Were they offended over what Jesus was wearing, or what type of skin His sandals were constructed? Were they offended over His hairdo, or how He cut His finger and toenails?

No? Hmm. Maybe they were upset at His laying claim to equality with God...which clearly ran against the grain of society and culture!

Today, that friction continues, and is manifesting itself along many fronts:

I like what MacArthur said when he stated, "I can't say I believe something, but I don't have the courage to say it."

We either believe the word of God, or we do not. The word of God offends, and the Bible shows that repeatedly in the portrayals of the prophets being killed for daring to repeat what the Lord gave to them to speak, and today's modern rejection of the word of God is to the extent that they will block out any and all messages that offend some, or even many!
