A powerful new way to pray

I am very into prayer but also one of my hobbies is EFT which stands for Emotional Freedom Technique. What it is is tapping on acupuncture points while you say affirmations or something like that. I choose to tap while I pray, because it makes the prayer more powerful, in my experience anyway. So, I found on this EFT site an article about a lady who uses a different energy technique called EMO while she prays and it has had an amazing effect about her. She is a Catholic sister. EFT has nothing to do with prayer. It is new age cult garbage. It is very similar to Reike where you take God out of the equation.

When disciples asked Jesus on how to pray, He gave a very different answer.. The prayer starts like this "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name..." The prayer starts with recognition of who God is.. And starts by glorifying His name.. That is the key. The key to strengthen our relationship with Him..

I don't think the stuff you have posted is going to go too well in this forum! But we would be happy to discuss and debate about this.. On Biblical basis.. Now we all would be very happy to see some scripture supporting this kind of prayer..
