Most people who read the epic of feeding of the 5000 & 4000 .. miss what happened .. it was NOT the feeding of the 5000 and the 4000 which carried the full message .. it is what happened afterwards ..
Jesus later on had to point it out to the Apostles .. and I am not sure they even got it then .. here are the two epics ..
Mat 14:21 There were about five thousand men who ate, besides women and children.
Mat 15:38 And those who ate were four thousand men, besides women and children.
here is Jesus later pointing to the message ..
Mat 16:9 “Do you not yet understand or remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets full you picked up?
Mat 16:10 “Or the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many large baskets full you picked up?
what was given first by man ..
then God multiplied into more for all ..
and not just enough for all .. but exceedingly ..
MORE WAS GATHERED AFTERWARDS THEN WAS GIVEN TO BEGIN WITH ..
the food was symbolic of His Grace to ALL ..
in which is EXACTLY what the Canaanite woman when asking for a healing claimed (Mat 15:22-28) ..
she stated that even as a dog (gentile) she was still entitled to be fed (receive grace) because she was a part of that household (new covenant) ..
of course she spoke allegorically ..
so the multiplied food (grace) must include her as well ..
