Allergies, Who's Got Them?

I was speaking with my internet friends earlier and we was talking about asthma and excema and some of our families suffer with these conditions. I dont suffer with any, but my family does. She has to take medication for it at times.

And I wondered why God would create flowers and food sources that make us ill.(I don't mean poisonous plants, just flower pollen )

I know man has made some food sources with lots of additives in that can make us ill, but when the pollen count is high and people can get really poorly and suffer terribly with the pollen makes me confused because I would have thought all natural plants with pollen would be good for us, because it says in the bible that God is Good and His creation is Good.

I get that some animals we must flee from but we cant escape pollen.

I have a sensitivity to pollen, and I live in an area where we have heavy pollen issues in the spring and in the fall (eastern Tennessee). Besides creating sinus problems for me, the green powder covers everything. That being said, we need that pollen to germinate our plants.

The Lord did not intentionally create anything to be bad for mankind. Sin is what corrupted some things that became bad for mankind, such as the venom in snakes and other creatures.

The only thing intentionally created by the Lord that was bad for man was the fruit of tree of knowledge of good and evil.

The association of allergies and pollen and other forms of headaches, heartburn, itchiness are the sensitivities of our frail bodies. I have heard of people who have serious pollen allergies that take them to the hospital, or trigger reactions like an asthma attack, sadly, that could lead to death if not treated right away.

God didn't create us to be permanently free of all these things that make us ill. This is why we must continuously pray for His Great Healing over our weaknesses, even minor illness.

During certain times of the year, like now, I have bouts of allergies with sneezing. I take an antihistamine (10 grams) and the sneezing is gone in a second.

I don't know too much about pollen but it can have healthy antioxidants and vitamins for the human body.

There is an aspect of sin for our illnesses that lead believers to write off their health ailments as a permanent condition for being a horrible sinner in the eyes of God. God does not work that way.
