Last eve was my niece Misty's wedding rehearsal, and I presented the painting to her to which she expressed great pleasure, as did her intended, Eric. At the end of the rehearsal dinner, Misty and Eric gifted this journal to me:

You have quite a style, LearningToLetGo, in that there's a certain simple monochromatic quality to work which is very appealing. The use of one color in your piece above is simple, yet stark, and conveyed an evening scene after a rain when the sun shines through the clouds.
