The sinner who believes is free,
Can say, the Saviour died for me;
Can point to the atoning blood
And say, that made my peace with God.
He bore on the tree The sentence for me,
And now both the surety
And sinner are free.
We are healed by His stripes,
Wouldst thou add to the Word?
He Himself is our righteousness made.
The best robe of heaven
He bids thee put on,
Oh, couldst thou be better arrayed
