Apple Cheesecake

If you like apples and cheesecakes, you will love this one. I saw Paula Deen make this one and tried it and been making this for many years now with a few adjustments of my own. It's very easy to make

Ingredients:
1- 9-inch graham cracker crust
1- can of Apple Pie filling
2- 8oz packages of cream cheese, room temperature
3/4 cup sugar
2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
2 eggs

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
1. Evenly cover the bottom of the graham cracker crust with a little more than half of the apple pie filling. Note: Try not to overlap the apples too much. Just evenly place on the bottom
2. In a mixing bowl, cream the cream cheese and sugar until smooth and well combined.
3. Add the eggs, one at a time.
4. Add the Vanilla flavoring.
5. Pour cream cheese mixture over the apples and smooth out.
6. Place in oven for 35 minutes and no longer.

To prevent your cheesecake from cracking, after the 35 minutes, turn the oven off and crack the oven and leave the cheesecake in the oven for an additional 10 minutes before removing from oven.

7. Gently heat the remaining apples in a saucepan with some caramel sauce if you like and pour over the top of the cheesecake after it has set for 15 minutes.
8. Continue to let the cheesecake cool 2 hours and then refrigerate.

Enjoy,
