Hello 2404;
When my wife and I receive a gift together or separately, we are conscious to maintain a humble heart of gratitude to God and to the person. We feel that is the right spirit and attitude.
Many times when we had the wrong attitude God blessed us with a kind gesture from another person, a new job, provisions, etc...This is the part that really convicts us because countless times we didn't deserve it.
Your thread Attitudes gives us all much to think about.
