Psalms 46:10 "Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth."
To know the Lord means to ascertain by seeing but to see we must also hear. There are times when we are listening but not truly hearing and there are times when we are looking but not truly seeing. To hear and to see at times requires that we cease from all that is preventing proper sight and sound. Take the time to be still and calm before the Lord and in seeing we shall hear and in hearing we shall see. This is a good day to see and to hear, and this is a good day to revere, worship, and exalt the Lord for he is above all things in heaven and earth.
