Beware social sciences at public colleges

Unfortunately public colleges are not good places to attend because of 'identity politics' or wokeness. Trade skills are still good instutions. If you are getting medical or engineering degrees you may be OK. A few hard sciences are seeing new openings thanks to research by Christians: geology, genetics.

If you the type of person who is narrow minded, you won't benefit from ANY social science degree, because to admit the existence of poor people worse off than you would just blow your mind.
Applied theology would also be out for you too.

I worked in engineering library. The engineering department was mostly male, but they were hoping that more women would study engineering. I think it would be beneficial because many things aren't designed to be safe/user friendly/environmentally sustainable. Asbestos anyone? Plastic? Even computer algorithms. What happened to Facebook? Just got commercialised.

Who says women can't fix things and make things, or wouldn't have come up with the idea to put more lifeboats on the Titanic. (They were omitted so that the ship would LOOK good)

I was looking into the history of clay and brickmaking in one area, and it was a woman who came up with the idea of not just making bricks out of the clay, but pottery and ceramics. It became a huge industry employing many creative people. If nobody had thought of it they would have just made bricks and pipes and that would be it.

With medical degrees you may get extra funding to study if you are minority because they actually need more professionals who understand the culture and language, but you also need good marks and be prepared to work and be just as good as everyone else.

So I would not say minorities are taking jobs away from everyone else, or be afraid that oh no! More female doctors. Its actually 60-40 now the gender divide, so my brother, as surgeon says. And having female doctors is a GOOD thing because half the population being female, with particular biology, needing specialised healthcare. Especially members of the public who can't afford private healthcare.

In libraries, there's a lot of fuss about books being too biased in one direction or another. As a librarian, working with the PUBLIC no less, you need to provide books for everyone, not just one priveliged subset of people.

liberalism is spreading like wild fire. our universities professors promote it .try to squelch those who hold to conservativism

Just go to a private university if you worried. You can afford it.
It's the same with public schools. Why slum it in public if you can afford private?
