That looks interesting. Maybe I'll check it out.

I recently read Blindside and its companion Echopraxia. I find the topic of human-guided evolution fascinating.

It is a HARD read. After sitting through the sermon I purchased the book.

One MUST take the position that GOD I AM is Sovereign His Plan for a New Heaven and Earth will NOT be subverted by the very forces of H.

Consider this… we humans only operate in linear time. GOD’s Realm IS timeless. The only book that matters has already been completed and the Heir’s List is complete of He Scroll of The Lamb.

I said a loud AMEN that may be audible when posted on our Pastor’s bright and wonderful sermon:

In Christ Alone

Keith & Kristyn Getty

In Christ alone my hope is found
He is my light, my strength, my song
This cornerstone, this solid ground
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm
What heights of love, what depths of peace
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease
My comforter, my all in all
Here in the love of Christ I stand

In Christ alone, who took on flesh
Fullness of God in helpless babe
This gift of love and righteousness
Scorned by the ones He came to save
'Til on that cross as Jesus died
The wrath of God was satisfied
For every sin on Him was laid
Here in the death of Christ I live

There in the ground, His body lay
Light of the world, by darkness slain
Then bursting forth in glorious day
Up from the grave, He rose again
And as He stands in victory
Sin's curse has lost its grip on me
For I am His and He is mine
Bought with the precious blood of Christ

No guilt in life, no fear in death
This is the power of Christ in me
From life's first cry to final breath
Jesus commands my destiny
No pow'r of hell, no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
'Til He returns or calls me home
Here in the power of Christ I'll stand

No power of hell, no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
'Til He returns or calls me home
Here in the power of Christ I'll stand

Christ The Power Of God

When God speaks of a new covenant or agreement, He makes the first one obsolete (out of use). And what is obsolete (out of use and annulled because of age) is ripe for disappearance and to be dispensed with altogether. (Hebrews 8:13 AMP)

This letter to the Hebrews sets forth the all-inclusive revolution or reconstitution which God made when He brought His Son, Jesus Christ, into the world – that is, the religious revolution. This revolution, which was rejected by Judaism, has been almost entirely overlooked or lost sight of by Christendom since Apostolic times. The entire present system of Christianity as generally accepted would be impossible if the meaning of this letter were received as a heavenly revelation in the power of the Holy Spirit. That is – if it came into the heart by the Spirit's power with the effect of a revelation in the same way as the Apostle Paul came to see who "Jesus of Nazareth" is, then a Christian-Judaism, or Judaistic-Christianity (which Christendom so largely is) would be impossible; as it became in his own case. The Letter to the Hebrews is only one other aspect of the battle fought out in the Letters to the Romans and Galatians.

In the light of such a spiritual eye-opening a whole lot of things would go: but being a "heavenly vision," there would be no tears, no sense of loss, and no fond farewells. The gain and joy would rather put all such things into the category of a worn-out and no-longer-to-be-desired suit of clothes. In saying this we are only contemplating the full-tide of spiritual life known before any of these things came into being. These things only came in when the fullness of the Spirit had gone out, and, being an artificial substitute, they can never but be limiting things in the realm of Divine purpose. And yet, behold how these things have become the very nature of traditional and organized Christianity! So much so that to touch them in any way which threatens their existence is to meet something more bitter and formidable than any persecution from the world. This is not said carelessly. Religion can be, and is very largely, a terrible force; and Christianity has become a religion. There are very few communities of Christians – even the most evangelical, and spiritual – who wholly escape the tendency or propensity to persecute or ostracize other bodies of Christians who might be regarded as rivals in their field of activity... "God... hath at the end of these days spoken... in His Son." But the new era and new order had brought out a new and mightier-than-ever conflict.
Bible Verses: Hebrews 8:13

What does The Bible say about Sovereignty?

Our Church is studying the great book of Hebrews intensely and slowly drinking in as much Holy Spiritual guidance together.
Hebrews was penned by the committee of Priscilla, Aquila, Apollos, and Paul of course truly authored as all The WORD is of LOGOS of the Holy Spirit.

This special pivot is the pinpoint marker transitioning the Old Testament with the New Covenant.

Messianic Jewish converts struggled following IESOUS I AM's gift of The Holy Spirit. Previously only a few were gifted with The Holy Spirit - The few Kings, Prophets, and Judges in the Old Testament times.

We as those grafted into today struggle also but have the advantage of the freshness of hindsight having personal access to the entirety of protected Scripture. Those embroiled in the change during the writing of this book did not have personal access because they lacked in most cases The Scrolls in the main that were still controlled by the Sadducees and especially the Scripture Lawyer Pharisees.

AI working to displace humanity.
I've spent a lot of time thinking about this and it seems that, unless we bomb ourselves back to the stone age, mankind will become a bootstrap for AI. For example, the void of space is seemingly insurmountable for flesh beings, but we would send ships with AI robots to another star system. If the trip takes 10,000 years? No problem. Such beings could fill the galaxy. We'd be long gone but our synthetic children would live on.

Our Pastor has been studying the impact AI will have on humanity as a whole. It is the tool of the evil one uses as “knowledge” as the corruptor. Perverting our attention away from I AM commands.

Think about this …

In The Garden what was the forbidden tree?

That of the KNOWLEDGE and good and evil. Previous to the fall all the two humans had was GOOD - LIFE from GOD. All they gained from this disobedience eating of knowledge was EVIL.

If people minimize the power of AI to corrupt and suppose it as a mindless game they will get burned.

Book Summary Dark Aeon, by Joe Allen

It wants me to sign in to read the summary so I bailed.

I have some ideas about Genesis 3. The core hinges around the meaning of "knowledge" as pertains to good and evil. Knowledge from the fall is experiential. It's not only intellectual. Adam and Eve got what they asked for; they experienced both good and evil. They knew good by their knowledge of the garden and by God's continuing mercy, and they knew evil through physical and emotional suffering as they toiled for survival and watched one of their sons kill another.
