Thank you for the inquiry. At this time, it costs the owner of CFS $80.00 US dollars to keep CFS on the net each month. There is a "Donate" button at the top of the main page as well as a recap of donations received each month on the right side of the main page. As of October 5, 2024, that 'Donations Received' total is zero for this month so far.
While that $80.00 goal is met most months by the kindness of our members, some months that goal falls way short. If a BLOG were to be added to CFS, that would increase the server bandwidth required and the resulting higher monthly fees from the service provider to keep CFS on the net. Since the current dollar amount is not even met some months, an additional charge to add a blog area each month is just not possible. Adding a blog would also put a scheduling strain on the Moderator Team to manage and operate such an area.
