Compost

I'm taking the floor up on my front porch and putting down new boards. Underneath, are all kinds of dead leaves (plus, I'm sure some other dead things also). Do you think this could be used in a compost pile if I scooped it up? I've never had one, but could it be the start of one? Or, should I leave it alone? Could be all kinds of spiders in it too ! I hate spider cridders!

Yeah, that would probably make a good start for a compost pile. Or you can make a simple compost box, I have a box about 4' square and 3' high, it has a 1" x 12" at the bottom and a 1" x 12" at the top and screen in the middle, it works great.
