Copy and Paste Insight

I present the idea that it would be greatly beneficial for me
to present what I know rather than what I just found out. I
see so little postings from some who admit that they don't
know or 'I just discovered'. They can't know everything
but they sure do! Now, unless we have a 1,024 I.Q. then surely
there is something we are willing to admit that we don't know.

It is so easy to be an instant sensation if I use a search engine
every time I need to "teach" someone but what if we could learn
together by actually doing the research ourselves. I think there
is a lot more plagiarism oozing from some of these posts than
what some are willing to admit.

The problem is that if I always have the right and best answer
then the discussion ends with my assertions without building
any kind of brotherly and sisterly relation. Everyone else is always
inferior to my knowledge because I have and utilize the knowledge
of the whole internet to keep you at bay.

I am willing to work with each of you on a deeper understanding
of Scripture and I am not here to prove anything. What do you think?

Hello Nazarene Servant;

I see it different and will encourage everyone to give each member the benefit of their postings.

There may be a topic that a member reads and is led to participate. Some members may borrow from another author, "copy and paste," others speak from their education or knowledge, some members may not even read the Bible, but most will express what's on their hearts and share/post it at Christian Forum Site.

I personally have a concern when a post is a link to a video. I would rather read from the member's own writing, otherwise I can surf the net and spend my time watching Christian or informational videos. But that's not my call but God's leading of the poster.

Now, should a member plagiarize, lie about their testimony or ministry, etc...I am going leave that between God and them as judge and jury.

Sam, I'm going to encourage you. 1. If you read a post and discern the credibility of the poster's writing, go directly to God and ask what He says about it.
And to maintain part of the fellowship, ask the poster in LOVE and respect should you have a question about the validity of their post.

2. Pray each and every day for Christian Forum Site, and all Christian sites, that God will prompt the hearts of each writer to express with honesty and their capability - the ultimate goal of bringing one more person to Christ Jesus.

It's works!
This is how you and I can work with each one with a deeper understanding of Scripture, not having to prove anything.

God bless you, Sam, and thank you for sharing from your heart.

Thank you, Pastor Bob, I always appreciate your counsel and
instruction. This type of teaching is beneficial to my spiritual
growth. I will always attempt to be forthright about my ideas
or understanding of myself because I just never know who's
watching and the growth of the tree comes from many roots.

Ok, first of all, I freely admitted in another post that I had n idea who Cliff was. Once someone posted his image, I realized that I did know who he is/was.

I am not sure that one can ask a poster about the veracity of his/her post and do so in "LOVE and respect." Just my opinion and I always reserve the right to be wrong.

Hello Ray;

You can still question a poster regarding the facts or lack of, with a serious tone or refute, but in LOVE and respect is sprinkled within the greatest command of loving one another. Why?

When we apply this command to the other, they will hear you and when that happens you have won your brother or sister over. When it doesn't work, take a step back and let them go.

God bless you and your family.
