1 Corinthians 1:1 (WEB)
If I speak with the voice of man and of angels, but don't have live, I have become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal.

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
The reason I like this verse is because it reminds me to pray to our Father, asking him to fill my heart with love. Without love we cannot reach anyone.

This verse is full of comfort and God's promises. I find it a real encouragement to battle on. We won't even remember all the bad things. Praise the Lord!

Philippians 4:8-9 (WEB)

8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things. 9 The things which you learned, received, heard, and saw in me: do these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

I love these verses. Why brood over all the bad things that are happening, and make ourselves depressed.

God leaves us so many lovely things to think about. We could make a list of what is pure, what is good, lovely, pure, what is just etc., so that when things get tough we can pick it up and think about something good..

How many of us have done this? I would love to read about it!
