MichaelWhat comes to mind for me is Jesus could read people's minds . the scripture says so every so often and He responded to those thoughts publicly . He said anyone who believes in me will not only do what He has seen me doing but will do greater things because i go to the Father . since the "Jesus seeing Nathaniel at the fig tree" was considered a "work" also (and a similar echo of greater things was used there) . it stands to reason the Holy Spirit can make known to us any of the all things He knows . because "we have the mind of Christ" as the scripture says .
Biblically speaking, there is indeed such a thing as heart to heart:Anyone else out there communicating the gospel through thought to thought or heart to heart communication?
Lynn, Hmm that's an interesting perspective but .. people have a tendency of stumbling blindly into my "private space" all the time . since there are no walls for me . i figured i'd just do something good with it instead . i live in that realm also in addition to the day to day tedium so just looking for more coping and thriving ideas from those who do and like me, have no choice in the matter .Telepathy, on the other hand, is a kind of mental tresspassing by which we seek to invade their private space.
God's Word absolutely forbids us having anything to do with the occult. (Deut. 18:9-12, as well as many other passages.) We can't just make our own rules about things ... when God says "don't touch", our only legitimate response is to not touch.but this world is not going away for me it's just the way i'm wired
Colossians 2:20-22 (New International Version)Michael, the two passages you mention have absolutely nothing to do with telepathy. They are simply saying that the heart condition precedes the action, and God sees the heart condition even if we resist carrying it through to action.

I do that at work sometimes. I don't call it "heart to heart" but what you call it doesn't change what it is.Anyone else out there communicating the gospel through thought to thought or heart to heart communication?
