OMHO, the work "miracle" is a very misplaced term. By that I mean we hear the term used way too freely today. You dont believe that miracles still occur? Or do you mean not in a showy televangelist slap on the forehead kind of way?
Very----very true!I thought it was SEND me your money!!!! HA
Gotta sew your SEED before getting the SECRET formula for "hearing important things from God"
I absolutely AGREE with everything you have stated here.... ( no big surprise there HAHA ).... I often wonder what the right word is for my experience at the beach those 4 years ago when I was healed of my depression... I call it a miracle... Not because of my healing ( which I believe was simply a residual effect of the PRESENCE of GOD ) but... HIS declaration to me that HE is WHO HE says HE is... HE is the GOD of the BIBLE. What do you call that???OMHO, the work "miracle" is a very misplaced term. By that I mean we hear the term used way too freely today.
Example.......“It was a miracle that I found a parking place near the store,”.
Example......." the “Miracle on Ice” describes the U.S. hockey team’s unexpected defeat of the Soviets for a gold medal in the Olympics
Example.......“It was a miracle that he survived that car crash.”
But are those really miracles? Or just highly unusual and unexpected events or outcomes?
Now, the biblical use of "miracle" is an action of God that produces a result apart from natural means. An action that pointed to God as the cause.
Example........"Crossing the sea on dry land".
Example........"Crossing the River Jordon on Dry ground.
Example........."The walls of Jerico falling down.
Example........."The rising of the dead.
Example........." Feeding a multitude with five small loaves of bread and a couple of fish"
Example.........."walking on water".
I believe that when God answers prayer, and He does, that is a miracle which has occurred. God has stepped into our world to act in response to our prayer. Whether that is to heal the sick, protect from harm, or equip us for service in his kingdom, all of these are miracles. They are God’s intervention in the normal working of the natural world, and these miracles are happening in the world today.
The greatest miracle is God taking a sinner like me with a black heart and washing him in the red blood of Jesus and making me white as snow!

You were in a state of depression, and I am sure you prayed to God for help. By what you are saying, He heard You, answered your prayer and if you think that is a miracle then that is what it is my dear sister.I absolutely AGREE with everything you have stated here.... I don't know what that was called... It was many things.... GOD showing me HIS MERCY.... HIS GRACE.... and HIS TRUTH.
I agree that we terribly MIS-USE the word miracle. I don't ponder on this word... but I am grateful for my experience... whatever it's called.
That is not how it played out... but I am ok with NOT understanding what happened. HAYou were in a state of depression, and I am sure you prayed to God for help. By what you are saying, He heard You, answered your prayer and if you think that is a miracle then that is what it is my dear sister.
