Earthen vessels....

Those that come to God must believe that HE IS….that is, He EXISTS…. “I AM”. Without faith, it is impossible to please Him.

Hebrews 11:6 KJV
(6) But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Why is it that religious-sounding men are preaching that we have to die first physically to inherit “eternal life” when God did raise Jesus physically from the dead already by His Spirit and is ALIVE NOW? Jesus IS RISEN and not dead. He was dead and has already tasted death for every man through His death so that we may have His LIFE NOW.

But the wresters of the Bible do this for money which they covet after and many are led astray from the Truth: that Jesus is ALIVE NOW….He IS RISEN….and not dead. If He is risen now, then we are to be risen now from the “dead” as we are already “dead” because of sin.

But our God is a consuming fire and He is not mocked: for he that sows to the flesh (the “outward man”), then of the mortal flesh shall we reap decay. But if we sow to the Spirit, then we shall of the Spirit reap life “everlasting”….in the here and now.

Galatians 6:8-10 KJV
(8) For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Let us not be weary in well doing for in “due season” we shall reap life everlasting if we faint not. It does not say anything here about physically dying to reap this life. If we are dying first, then we are still under the wrath of God who is a consuming fire.

(9) And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
(10) As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Our God is a consuming fire in which our mortal bodies are consumed from off this earth because of our sins. He has given the sons of men over to the destruction of the flesh so that He may have mercy upon us for He is not willing that any perish from off this earth but come to repentance and follow Him.

2 Peter 3:9 KJV
(9) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

The world is condemned already. The CURRENT heavens and earth are STORED now with “fire” for our judgment because of sins. The wages of sin is death….death to our mortal bodies so that our spirits may be saved. The world and its lusts are PASSING AWAY CURRENTLY for NO FLESH is being saved under the wrath of God who is a consuming fire. The evidence of this is overwhelming. All are dying from off this earth without the life of Jesus being made manifest in their mortal flesh giving us life “everlasting”. This judgment is a now thing and this is why God sent His Son into THIS world so that we might have life and have it more abundantly. We must BELIEVE though that HE IS. The "I AM" is not dead but ALIVE NOW and so we are to be be alive now.

John 3:15-21 KJV
(15) That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
(16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The world is CONDEMNED ALREADY. He sent His Son into the world not to condemn the world to everlasting hell but that the world through Him might be saved. He has shown us the Way, the Truth and the Life. He is these things and we follow Him into the Way that leads to life now.

(17) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
(18) He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
(19) And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
(20) For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
(21) But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Why do we not see His life being made manifest in the flesh of the church goers of the world? Because of false prophets who in their covetousness preach things for filthy lucre’s sake and lead many astray from His commandment to have love for one another. They deny that Jesus IS COME in our mortal flesh. They preach that we have to physically die first…thereby denying that Jesus IS ALIVE now and NOT DEAD. They are casting the Truth that He is alive now down to the ground and are prospering.

Beware of false prophets who lead us away from doing unto others as we would have them do to us which is the narrow way the leads to LIFE NOW. Broad is the way that leads to the destruction of the flesh and MULTITUDES of church goers are going in that way.

Matthew 7:12-15 KJV
(12) Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
(13)
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

(14) Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
(15) Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves
.

We can not sit with those who are called “brothers” but are covetous as they lead us astray from keeping His commandment to have love for one another. We must depart from their company as we are ONE FLESH with them in their churches of envy and strife. Our mortal bodies are decaying away to the grave without the life of Jesus being made manifest in our mortal flesh so that we may have “eternal life” in the here and now and display the glory of God to this dark, dying world.

The mortal body is “dead” already because of sin but the Spirit is LIFE because of righteousness. There is NOW NO CONDEMNATION to them that which are in Christ Jesus who NOW DO NOT WALK AFTER THE FLESH BUT AFTER THE SPIRIT.

Romans 8:1-14 KJV
(1) There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
(2) For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
(3) For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
(4) That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
(5) For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
(6) For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
(7) Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
(8) So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
(9) But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
(10) And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

If the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in us, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also enliven our MORTAL BODIES by His Spirit that dwells in us. This “life” to our mortal bodies is the life of Jesus that is to be made manifest in our mortal (subject to death) bodies NOW….for He is risen now and not dead. If we are living NOW, then we are debtors not to live after the flesh but after the Spirit. The outward man must perish from living after the flesh.

(11) But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
(12) Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

For if we live after the flesh (envy, strife and hatred of one another), then we shall die. We perish from off this earth just like the rest of the world that is perishing away already as His life is not made manifest in our mortal flesh giving our mortal bodies “eternal life”. Our “outward man” MUST PERISH….that is, we must die to living according to the flesh and live according to the Spirit instead.

(13) For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
(14) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

It is the power of God that keeps our earthen vessels standing in the here and now as the life of Jesus is made manifest in our mortal flesh.

2 Corinthians 4:7-18 KJV
(7) But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
(8) We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
(9) Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

We either believe this or we do not: by always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus ( the “daily sacrifice”), the life of Jesus also is made manifest in our body…..our “MORTAL FLESH”….which gives us “eternal life”.

(10) Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
(11) For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
(12) So then death worketh in us, but life in you.

We must have FAITH.

(13) We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

The words of the biblical saints shall be made “alive” by Christ in our understanding so that we may hear the Spirit speaking and believe.

(14) Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.

For all things are for our sakes today. They wrote for us today for our benefit.

(15) For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God
.

Our “outward man” MUST PERISH…that is, we are to die to sin when we are persecuted for our FAITH in Him. We must die to living after the flesh….the outward man.

(16) For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

We must bear about the dying of our Lord Jesus in our body….the “outward man” must perish to sin….as we look forward to His inner life being made manifest outwardly in our mortal flesh.

(17) For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory
;

The persecutions by unbelieving “Christians” will be temporary, but the things which are not seen (the inner life of Jesus) are “eternal”….as Christ in us, the hope of glory, shall be revealed for all to see as His life is made manifest in our mortal flesh. All shall see His glory as His life reveals Himself outwardly.

(18) While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

We are His purchased possession. We have this treasure in “earthen vessels” so that we may CONTINUE MANY DAYS…that is, have “eternal life” in the here and now.

Jeremiah 32:13-15 KJV
(13) And I charged Baruch before them, saying,
(14) Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Take these evidences, this evidence of the purchase, both which is sealed, and this evidence which is open; and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may continue many days.

We shall possess this earth….this “land”.

(15) For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land.

We have this treasure in “earthen vessels”…and we are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise (the evidence which is sealed) which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession unto the praise of His glory….for His life shall be manifested outwardly in our mortal flesh (the evidence which is OPEN for all to see and praise God unto His glory).

Ephesians 1:11-14 KJV
(11) In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
(12) That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
(13) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

(14) Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

But if the good news (the gospel) is HID, it is hid to them that are “lost”…that is, PERISHING. Their mortal bodies are decaying away to the grave without the life of Jesus being made manifest in their mortal flesh. They go after their hidden covetousness which blinds them from seeing the good news as His life does not appear in them even though they are preaching. Yet, they are preaching for money and lead many astray down the broad way to the destruction of the flesh. They defile the flesh of their listeners and followers.

2 Corinthians 4:3-6 KJV
(3) But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
(4) In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

They preach themselves and not Christ Jesus the Lord.

(5) For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
(6) For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

We shall be persecuted by the unbelievers in the “Christian” world…for we shall cease keeping company with them any longer. When we have ceased living in the flesh to the lusts of men in the churches, then we shall suffer their persecutions for doing so. But our “outward man” must perish so that the inward man (Christ in us) gives our mortal bodies life.

1 Peter 4:1-4 KJV
(1) Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
(2) That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
(3) For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:
(4) Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:

We are to rejoice at their persecutions of us for then we are made partakers with Christ in His sufferings. If we are made partakers, we shall also share in His glory as His life shall appear in our mortal flesh to our exceeding joy.

1 Peter 3:13-20 KJV
(13) And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
(14) But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;

They will not understand why we will no longer sit with them in their churches but we are to always give an answer to every man who shall ask us the reason of the hope that is in us with meekness and fear.

(15) But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
(16) Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
(17) For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doi
ng.

We are to follow in His steps….for He also once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust. The “unjust” shall persecute us for our faith but we are to “suffer” their persecutions by always bearing about the dying of our Lord Jesus Christ in our bodies.

(18) For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
(19) By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
(20) Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

The spirits who are in prison are those who will hear the Spirit speaking but will be disobedient and speak evil in their wrath of what they hear. They will have be taken captive by the devil as they will not remember to let brotherly love continue.

2 Timothy 2:24-26 KJV
(24) And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
(25) In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
(26) And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
