Thank you so much Pastor Gary! I will definitely look over those links, especially the 2nd one. I appreciate the quick turnaround on the acceptance to the forum.

I am originally from central VA but my wife & I have followed my job around to GA, to MN, and now to NC. Looking forward to conversing with people here good fellowship.

Hello ekim22;

Welcome to Christian Forum Site! We look forward to fellowship with you soon!

Have you been to Winston-Salem? Years ago I was there when as a teen. North Carolina is very beautiful country.

God bless you and your family.

I actually work in Winston Salem :) I say I "live" in Greensboro but frankly I live about 15 mins east of the GSO airport but most people have no idea where it is if I say "Belews Lake". So yeah, I live sorta between WS & GB and I work in WS!

I like NC but nothing beats home (Va!)

HI ekim22, glad to have you join us...
WELCOME!!!

I have followed my job around to GA, to MN, and now to NC.
My husband and I have also been blessed with being able to travel and see places and meet people due to work. We lived full-time in our fifth wheel for five years. It was a wonderful experience, and a much simpler life-style. We spent several years in the eastern Tennessee area, and it's such beautiful country all around that region. A few years ago, God blessed us with finding a place to call home & we "grew roots" and bought a small farm.

-and again... WELCOME :)

Thank you so much Atomic Snowflake. That's funny you mention that (about traveling) because my wife & I talk about doing that sometimes as well....but then we think we might get a little grumpy in a small space together for so long LOL. One thing is for sure, this is a beautiful country with amazing variances in the geography. One of the blessing of living in a country so large with such different topography. It's also very neat to see the differences and commonalities in people between those places.

We had fun doing it. It does tend to get a little "confining" after a while... (but we were in a small rv- only a 21 footer). And then again, we were in it for 5 years!! But it actually wasn't bad.
If you ever do decide to give it a try, just know that it doesn't have to cost a fortune. Many people will go out and buy a shiny new one... and a huge, expensive truck to pull it- which is fine, if that's what you want, but that's overkill. If you shop around, nice used ones are usually easy to find at very reasonable prices.
There is even a network of people now, (boondockers), who offer rv'ers free places to stay while travelling!
