Fountain Pens

Just bought myself the pink... light blue... green... and violet... although I think I am going to return the pink the next time I go in as I'm not a PINK person... I just got so excited and bought them all. There was NO brown.
Are those Platinum? I have some Preppy's. They are good pens but I convert mine to eyedroppers so I can fill them with lots and lots of ink.

If you like ink, pens and paper and live in North America then check out Goulet Pens and Jet Pens. They have huge online stores where you can indulge just about any stationary related fetish of your desire. :)

Who uses brown ink? Unless you purchased all those ink cartridges for your coloring book? lol! šŸ˜Ž
HOLD on a minute.... BROWN.... I love BROWN.... I would USE BROWN.... right now I am an ALL BLACK ink girl.
When I bought my fountain pen.... It came with ONE cartridge... The guy let me pick my colour ( meaning black or blue ).

I would use brown A lot as a change from black. I won't use pink... that's just WRONG...I'm sure the guy will let me exchange it for another colour.... but I will use the violet and the light blue and the green for letter writing to my pen pal... just to spice things up.

I've already been through 3 cartridges.
Oh, my. I love, love, love sepia ink. I own four bottles in different shades.
TALK to me... TALK to me.... What are the benefits to a dipping pen?

You need to give me some ink lessons.... HA.... I am planning on going back to the pen store BY MYSELF so that I can just ask questions.

https://www.goodatlas.ca/ This is my pen store.... Have a look around and give me FEEDBACK... I am open to buying anything.... I love my fountain pen... I only paid 22.00 for it... I got those coloured cartridges yesterday... but I had someone waiting for me... so I couldn't take my time and ask questions.

This is the pen I got in burnt orange

Well, for starters, a dipping pen is usually a better quality pen than a package you buy at the office supply store. I buy the packages of pens because I can get several for $7.50 and go through them fast.

My dipping or fountain pen lasts so much longer and you can actually see the quality of ink being used. It also makes me look cool but I don't want to appear conceited.
lol! 🤄

Finally, blue ink is the way to go. When I sign papers you can distinguish between blue and document black.

I still believe your assortment of color ink cartridges are for your coloring book or for art painting by numbers. Now I know why you want brown ink.
lol!

BšŸ˜Žb!!!

Geeze Louise...... BOB..... BOB..... YOU too???? Doesn't ANYONE write with coloured ink??????????
I don't know why but I have always gravitated to black ink. I only buy black pens... but now... with my fountain pen... the sky is the limit.

Wouldn't y'all just LOVE to get a green letter in the mail??? or a violet one???

Colour is the SPICE of life... HAHA

When I asked the guy how long my fountain pen should last... he said if I take care of it... it should last a long time. Somehow... since I only paid 22.00 for it... and I'm writing hours every day... I am thinking that might not be true.

I guess I have a lot of learning to do about fountain pens.

NOPE Bob..... BLACK ink is the way to go... and if I could get brown.... well... HAHA

SIGH! In In In....Awe Awe Awe.....of of of.....Him Him Him....

Nope. Blue
is the way to go. Example, if you sign a contract the document letters are in black. But the signature in blue stands out and doesn't get lost in the contract. The same goes when I sign your check.

WELL BOB BOB.... If you can't see a written signature from the TYPING... THEN... I can't help you. HAHAHAHA. BLACK is the way to go. HAHAHAHA.... the lines on the paper are BLUE.

That site is a bit difficult to navigate. I did find the Platinum ink section (the one you posted an image of) and it looks like those are regular Platinum ink cartridges. The black ink looks like "Platinum Carbon Black". That is an EXCELLENT ink. It contains carbon nanoparticles that bind to the cellulose in the paper and form an INCREDIBLE bond that will NEVER wash off. You can soak your writing in a bucket of water overnight and all you'll see is wet paper the next morning. The text won't move at all!

Obviously this is safe for use with water colors. But make sure you test first, just in case I'm wrong...
