Wonder what it was like writing with a feather pen. I hope they never killed the bird, they shed them anyhow.

Wonder what it was like writing with a feather pen.

I made my own quill pen once. It's not a difficult process but you need a sharp knife and a lot of patience.

A quill pen is light so you need to press very gently against the page. For a generation raised on Bic Crystal, that's not easy to do.
