U.S. President Barack Obama makes remarks at the Georgetown Waterfront Park in Washington July 1, 2014.

Update: 2:25 pm

A three judge panel for a federal appeals court may have delivered a serious blow to the Affordable Care Act, also known as "Obamacare."

In a 2-1 decision, U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit ruled Tuesday that a key provision of President Barack Obama's signature legislation is illegal. [FULL CP Article]

Meaningless. The subsidies continue and the Supreme Court will approve the illegal subsidies by a 5-4 ruling.

But, apparently the Obama administration, via the IRS, is breaking the law, not that most judges care. The LAW states that insurance subsides are to be paid ONLY to people who buy insurance through State exchanges. But, the Obama administration is giving subsidies to people who buy insurance through Federal exchanges. People who buy insurance outside of a government exchange get no subsidies.

I am likewise wondering the point of this article on this forum. I do notice that evangelicals seem to be particularly disenchanted with Obama but I agree this is sensationalist and not really balanced and I don't quite get the point of it either.

My mistake. I thought there was a news section in this forum. Please ignore this news article. Thanks and God Bless. :)
I wasn't being sarcastic, I'd really like to know. There does seem to be a tie-in with right wing American politics and right-wing American religion. Which you don't see in, for example, left-wing American politics and left-wing American religion.

Fortunately, I don't participate in partisan bias politics.

I was under the mistaken impression that a forum identified as open to news meant just that. And as many people subscribe to "Obama Care", this recent court decision was mistakenly imagined to possibly be of news to some people here.

It certainly was never my intention to post it so as to bait those prone to attacking members to action.

And now, I'm out of this discussion. :) God Bless.

I'm not wondering what the point of this article. Obama and leftwing judges continue to expand socialism and immorality inspite of the great Constitution and relatively less corrupt general legislator.
