God Doesn't Care

'God must not care if He hasn't answered yet.'
'I prayed about that and I really believed He would come through for me but He didn't.'
'God doesn't really care.'

Any of those sound familiar?

If you have been a Christian for more than a day you have gotten frustrated with God's timing on answering your prayer. The result is hopelessness and confusion. We really wanted to believe that God hears our prayers and is accurate in His response. Now we have nothing but ourselves to resort to for any hope of the future.

BEWARE: These doubts of God's faithfulness are straight from Hell and the flesh.

What do you say about doubt in the midst of waiting for God to move?

These days, I just wait, and it seems like a little seed is just growing under my feet!!!
whilst I am at it I keep my eye on Satan. He usually pops in and tries to make himself at home and tries to dig it up....
, but I keep reminding myself, God Will Act When He is Good and Ready, and not before. And so I keep watering my little. Seedling with patience and trust and obedience among other eternal qualities

Thankyou NZ, I like your postings

I struggled with this for years wavering back and forth. Mostly because of Christ's words

Matt 7:7-12 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? 10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? 12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. (KJV)

God clearly tells to ask, seek and knock, but so often it seemed like God didn't hear. But, God does hear I discovered over time.

God though answers in ways we might not expect and it's important to remember that God never promises how and when.

1 John 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. (KJV)
What is it that God wants us to do?

1 John 3:23-4 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. (KJV)

God answers our prayers but he wants us to trust in him and be acting in love toward God and neighbor. This is part of the will of God that pleases God.

For me I've learned to trust God through some difficult trials. God works with all of us differently though. As we see God working in our lives though trusting him becomes that much easier because we have personal evidence of God's unseen hand in our lives.

This is good stuff, CPerkins.

Honestly
I watched Gods Glory manifest in me the other week. I sat with my utter contempt for someone at work....
And said” God, you promise me a Heart of Flesh.... and I believe, and....
I couldn’t believe He took away my heart of stone right in from my of my eyes! And gave me a Heart of flesh within a couple of days I love my new hart and it’s the best thing EVER!

I have never been so compassionate in all my life I don’t know how He did it

Praise God🙏😇

Based on some real-life situations that I've seen/been in..

Much of it is about timing.

Many times we "want" something... or pray for something... and I mean seriously life-altering, big things... and yet we hear nothing. We see nothing. No answer. No help. No hope. (again- been there.)

But when it is time- it happens.
----

It may be that for whatever the reason, maybe that particular situation/circumstance we are in, is necessary... (think of the scripture about "all things....") It is for good- whether it is for us personally, for the benefit of someone else, or God's own purpose... it's not always for us to know the reason. But usually we can look back, and it is clear.

----------------------

There was an article that I read quite a while back... something like - Your present can change your past.

Maybe that terrible period in my life that I struggled with for so long, connected many dots that have allowed me to be where I am now. (Which is true.)
There are countless "what ifs" than can apply here... but that's my view on it because that's how it's been in what I've been through.

Amen to that, AtomicSnowflake;

The rock bottom periods in my life seemed to last forever, with no sign in sight, I feel because it was always on my mind. Today, it now seems so long ago and we have taken on new things, good things and new challenges.

I have to admit I couldn't see it at the time but now can see the lessons God had to take me through.

God bless you and thank you for sharing, sister.
