How do we tell everyone? That is the question.
I have seen preachers standing on the street corner but doubted its
effectiveness because no one was standing there listening. He was
just practicing preaching and edifying himself publically.
Some people talk only about God and their excitement for Him is
incredible and warranted but they aren't real anymore. They set up
a barrier to their humanness in exchange for a life of their spirit.
Which is fine for a while if you grow out of that.
There are some who are Christians and people know that. Those people
still are human in conversation and can talk about anything while
keeping the conversation and their life clean. They don't look down on
anyone and can talk to a drunk or a banker the same way. They don't beat
anyone over the head with the Bible or 'God said', they just relate to others.
But when the opportunity comes within an appropriate context they will jump in
and make a small statement that provides a ray of Christ to the unbeliever.
THAT is the type of Christian that we have forgotten to be.
That is the Christian like Christ.
That is the Christian I practice being in public and with others.
