Matthew 28:19-20 (WEB) 19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Sharing God's Word with persons who have never known about God's Word has been taking place since the days of Christ's time on earth, when He sent out his Disciples. Teaching God's Word to others is a calling that brings God's Truth to those persons who may have never been exposed to Christian Doctrine.
Matthew 25:36 I was naked and you clothed me. I was sick and you visited me. I was in prison and you came to me. Matthew 25:43 (WEB) I was a stranger and you didn't take me in, naked and you didn't take me in, sick, and in prison, but you didn't visit me."
Prison visiting can be be a big uplift for the person you have come to see. The prisoner may want to tell you what life is life is like for them, and they will want to know news about home, family and friends. Ask them how they are coping too, health wise.
Then you could change to lighter things that they are interested in.
Put a smile on their face and heart.
It would be a good idea to find out what you are allowed to take inside. A Bible, leaflets from church, etc.
If you are unable to visit, you could send them a letter, with permission from the prison.

When a person becomes disabled, it must be a scary time.
Even if they order shopping by phone or internet, it would be lovely if a person called round to take them out shopping. They can have a proper look round and enjoy seeing all those shopping items once more. New things too, it is good to look before you buy.
If we are unable to help with the shopping, how about the cooking? Great fun to find out what your friend would like to eat. Finding new ways to do things and seeing a grateful smile on the person's face.
Perhaps you can suggest new meals to try, and have great fun preparing the meals.
The Father will be watching and He will be pleased.

For some low income families, having a Volunteer Handyman to rely on, when home repairs are needed, is a gift from God. Volunteer Handyman repairs are usually funded by donations and sometimes government grants. These services can do basic repairs such as replacing broken window glass, plastering and drywall repairs, some plumbing repairs and some basic household appliance repairs and can provide a sense of relief.
