Hello,
I have been saved for about two years now now, but sometimes I still struggle with living the Christian life. For example not getting upset so easily, viewing myself as God views me, etc. I've learned that the reason I keep failing is because I am trying to defeat sin through my own strength --and not through the Holy Spirit. I heard a wonderful sermon the other day, about relying on the Holy spirit, and not on the flesh, to successfully live the christian life. My question is, How does one learn to live through the Holy Spirit?
This may sound like a silly question, but I figured I'd ask because it's important to me. For those of you who have learned to do this, how do I really "give up" and let God take control?
P.S. I apologize if this is the wrong section to post this type of question.
