If you need anything...please feel free to pm me. I am realoy glad that you have chosen to stay. Lots of wonderful and loving people in here!
Blessings
Thank you, I didn't expect such wonderful people, I was concerned people would try and shoot me down, your support is invaluable, you're all gems, really special gems.

Thank you so much, I will read it thoroughly and get back to you. I am looking forward to reading it.
Wonderful, I loved it, thank you, thank you so much, it was especially meaningful to me as I also had malignancies in the bowel :)

Thank you for expressing your concerns, they are valuable to me and I am grateful that you can be open and honest with me.
I can't quote the bible or verses, I've read most of it but it upsets me too much to read how angry God is with the Jewish people and how in his wrath and fury he is going hurt them for hurting him, and, then I cried reading it because I realised God is also a human being (we are made in his image) and he has feelings just like we do and he hurts just like we do, maybe he even hurts more sometimes, and then we judge him saying what he is and what he is not and what he can do and what he can't do as though we know his thoughts and they are just like ours.

God created us in His image, replete with the spectrum of emotions that He has, but at the same time, He says His thoughts are not our thoughts and His ways are not our ways. So, how He feels about Israel is beyond our comprehension, although we can fathom to a point just how much He loves her, and how he has stated He is jealous for her, as an adulterous wife. He is injured by it, yet continues in His steadfast love and longsuffering over her.

He loves His special people Israel so much that He sent His Son to die for her sins (and for the whole unbelieving world) and still, although she has rejected Him, He is still working on her behalf and has made a promise that "all Israel will be saved". His plan is to finish His dealings with the Jews and we will see that happening very soon, and it will culminate in Israel finally receiving her Messiah! Praise God!

Romans 11:25-27
I want you to understand this mystery, dear brothers and sisters, so that you will not feel proud about yourselves. Some of the people of Israel have hard hearts, but this will last only until the full number of Gentiles comes to Christ. 26 And so all Israel will be saved. As the Scriptures say,

“The one who rescues will come from Jerusalem,
and he will turn Israel away from ungodliness.
27 And this is my covenant with them,
that I will take away their sins.”

We are living in days where both Jews and Muslims are coming to Christ in record numbers, and not only that, but they are doing so by personal revelation and actual God-given visions. Your early experiences seem questionable to me, as Jesus Christ will never permit us to remain fearful, but confident, nor would He cause us to sustain a bodily injury, for He would never allow harm to come to us, so being concussed for a year is not a good sign.

If you will read the New Testament and believe what you are reading as from God to you personally, you will indeed meet the Saviour, Jesus Christ, your Messiah! I do believe that the Lord Jesus is wooing you, and that is right where you will find His wonderful message of God's truth and grace for you!

That said, welcome, Softly, to CFS, and I pray you will continue with us and feel free to ask questions as we will endeavour to fill you in from the word of God!

I forgot to say that he also healed me. I'm so sorry, it's really bad of me but I was nervous just writing about my experiences. I always had very low blood pressure, around 80/50 and I fainted all the time, Drs couldn't help me, I'd seen many specialists that said they could nothing after many different medications didn't work. My blood pressure is now 117/78. I haven't fainted again :)

I'm so so so sorry. I saw people so honestly and openly sharing their beautiful experiences I had a moment of rare courage and posted a reply. I will read the forum rules. I am really sorry, I feel bad, I should have read them first, I didn't mean to be disrespectful.

Peace be unto you child...... you are not in any trouble :) he is just reminding you that each forum has rules and giving you a link in case you could not find them. Its all ok

How wonderful! I join with you in adoration of our God who heals!

I believe that the Holy Spirit caused your name to stand out to me last night. He knew that you needed support and love and tenderness and encouragement. He knew that you were going to try to remove your post. But He desired for you to find love and blessings for obedience.

From reading what you wrote...to me it seems as if this is the reason why God wants you to read the new testament. To find out how much the Father loves us all, and when you get to know Jesus...you are getting to know God. The love that they h ave for the people that accept Jesus as Lord and Savior is huge. And the love that He has for the Jewish nation above all (like Euphemia said) is even greater than any of really realizes. This is a time for grace and He desires that we all (Jewish and non-Jewish alike) get to know Him and how much He loves us.

I find it tremendously heartening that God still loves Jewish people, would we still love someone if they did the same thing to us, killed our child, our only child, killed the God they believe in. I dont know if i could ever be that full in heart to offer such a pure love again, it is humbling to read and the sadness i feel for what happened, to know that God did this for us, and what we did to him, is unmeasurable and i have cried over it and said sorry many times, yet i dont know what my grief means to god.
I agree that Jews are blinded in a mystical way i can not explain towards Jesus, i have witnessed it. I have told friends and they have laughed at me and given the same reasons for not believing in Jesus that Jews have been taught over the centuries, the same reasons that i was taught, and I can see from both sides, the Christian and the Jew and i can not judge anyone for believing what their priest or rabbi has taught them.... We trust in our religious leaders to tell us the truth and to know the bible and to be able to explain the bible to us, but they are also human, all of them, jew and gentile alike, doing what they believe is right and what they have been taught, just like Muslims do too.

Yes, so much, so true, so beautifully expressed, though i doubt sometimes that god does love me, or maybe what is closer to the truth, i doubt more that i deserve gods love.

Gosh I wouldnt know what to say about myself, to introduce myself is to sprout my 'doings' or promote myself and i cant do that, i need to resolve how to introduce myself in a way that doesnt feel like im saying how good i am, rather more 'hello, i would love to learn about you'.

Yes, your name had meaning to me as well. I believe you came at the right time for the right reason, thank you :)

I found it and i read it and i think they are fair, thoughtful and reasonable and i love that you dont distinguish between the different factions of Christianity and believe they are all one, that was so refreshing to read :)

You could just say, "Hi, it's nice to be here, hoping to have some great conversations here".
Something like that.

God desires to see godly sorrow in us, and I do believe that is exactly what you have experienced, but when we receive Jesus Christ and His life in us, we may still contemplate what He has done for us, but that is tempered with joy, and with the knowledge of His great mercy, so that we experience great gratefulness!

God wants us to live in joy, and not in sorrow!

Yes, the Lord has blinded the Jew to the reality of their Messiah, but now the blinders are beginning to drop off as more and more Jews are coming to know Jesus, and not necessarily by the work of Christians and/or missionaries, but by the direct revelation that God has placed in their hearts. He is doing this in the Muslim, today, and it is amazing!

Softly, you are in good company in not wanting to boast or promote yourself regarding your spiritual experiences. Here is someone else who was struggling 2000 years ago to explain what happened to him. As with Paul, we don't regard your spiritual journey as boasting, but just reporting facts that edify your brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus.

Paul the Apostle.-
2Corinthians12v1
It is not expedient for me doubtless to boast. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.

2I knew a man in Christ fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knows) such a one caught up to the third heaven.

3And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knows)

4How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

5Of such a one will I boast: yet of myself I will not boast, but in my weaknesses.

6For though I would desire to boast, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he sees me to be, or that he hears of me.

God desires to see godly sorrow in us, and I do believe that is exactly what you have experienced, but when we receive Jesus Christ and His life in us, we may still contemplate what He has done for us, but that is tempered with joy, and with the knowledge of His great mercy, so that we experience great gratefulness!

I do believe he does want us to live in joy, after I saw him the second time, when he spoke to me, I experienced heart break with friends and a particular man I liked at the time, my friends didn't believe me and everyone I told the full story too cut me off including the man I had liked who ganged up on me on FB with his friends and cyber bullied me, it was very hard to experience. One day when quite distressed sitting on my bed thinking about what had happened, feeling overwhelmed, I saw a hand pass over my forehead slowly and as it moved across my forehead the anxiety and worry I was experiencing left with the movement of the hand, I felt the negative emotions leaving me as the hand moved across my forehead. I had shy'ed away from people preferring to be alone by then, I couldn't deny what I saw and would never lie about it. One day sitting in my garden I had a vision that I was suddenly not in my garden and didn't understand how it could happen, when I asked how I would leave my garden when I couldn't afford to go away, I saw him again and a door filled with light in front of me and he said 'look at the doorway'. Mom rung me a week later and asked me if I wanted to go on holiday with her, she said she needed a break and needed me with her, my parents had always had a rule that they would only take all children and never only one, they have never only taken one child away before because they believe in non preferential love, all children being shown equal love. I met my now closest friend on that holiday with mom and making that new friend gave me a renewed sense of heart, albeit still a timid one, a feeling of happiness again and subsequently a new man I'm getting to know, a good decent man.
