Welcome to CFS Powers. We are glad you decided to join us. The Bible tells us in [Romans 10:17], "So then Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God." Read the word of God daily. Whenever you go through a trial or tribulation, trust and believe that God will bring you through, meditate on God's Words and learn his promises. As you grow in God's word and witness him bring you through your trials and knowing that He is with you during the good times and bad times, your faith will grow because You will start to understand and know that God will never leave you nor forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5-6).

I was wondering where best to start in the bible.and also other books to read that u recommend to help with my knolege.thanks
Hi and welcome! Also congrats on your conversion!
If I were you, I would start with New testament and preferably Paul's teaching (Romans).
God interacted literally with man or through His prophets in the OT. In the NT after the resurrection of Jesus, God interacts with us through The Holy Spirit. A revelation of how to live by faith in an unseen God with the witness of The Holy Spirit was given to Paul. There is a reason that 3/4 of the NT is based on his teaching.
As for reading other material, I would not do it until you have a good knowledge of the bible.
