Holiness

Holiness

For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.
Therefore, he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but
God, who gives you his Holy Spirit.
-- 1 Thessalonians 4:7-8

THOUGHT:
The call to holiness is easy to ignore in a world which lives by
much different standards. Satan gets us to compare our lifestyle
with those around us, deluding us into devaluing our sins in
comparison to others. But the issue is not comparison shopping our
sin; the issue is a thankful heart that has been cleansed by the
Holy Spirit and saved by grace. Ignoring, or toning down, the
Spirit's call for holiness is rejecting God. Let's be passionate
about holiness in our lives, both because it is what God wants and
also because it is what we should seek.

Thank you, Dusty~

Without God there is no Holiness and we can't have Holiness without living for and serving Him.

Indeed ladies- holiness can only be manifest as we abide in that heavenly Vine which is Christ.:)

Holiness is what we all should desire. It's something you see on other peoples faces and it comes from being close to Him. On this forum, it comes through in how we reply to others who need answers. I thank God for His leading us to more holiness.

Amen to you all. Thanks

Blessings to all in this thread for the reminder to everyone as to what the very basis of being a Christian truly is. We accept Christ as our personal Savior and do everything possible to follow His Gospel and teachings. The holiness is ours for the taking, as Believers...

Amen.
