there are shades with Covenant theology, as being one who holds to that view, but also still also see the second coming as premil, and God will still be dealing with the jewish people and nation, as seems like the main purpose of the Great tribulation period will be to prepare Israel to meet their God

Him and I seem to have come to similar conclusions reading the same Bible. (oh well).
Could be a LOT Worse, as could be a disciple of Copeland, hagin, and Hinn!
My point was I don't see myself as a disciple of John MacArthur, but of the Scriptures.
Some would say that would be the same thing though

Dr Macarthur did not have perfect theology, but did learn a lot from his study bible notes and his TV messages

He tends to take the blood as a metaphor for death.
