If?

If caterpillars transform into beautiful butterflies
And precious stones from sand over time are made
If coal results from rotted trees
If pearls form with grit in an oysters shell
If God really did send His only Son to earth
The ultimate sacrifice,

If God can do all of this…
What about me?

What sort of transformation
What pressure,
What beauty will be revealed?
If He takes me and my fifthly
rags,
When I’m born again,
If Jesus is a reality
And Christ in me is revealed?

Poetry can take me aways with thoughts or reflections on life and many times music. I thought of this classic and hope everyone will enjoy it.

I don't think it will align with If? but take a listen and see if it flows with your poem.
