Indian Weather

One winter, the Chief told the tribe to prepare. "It's going to be a big, hard winter!" he told them. "Lots of snow! Gather wood!"

Then he went into his teepee and slammed the door while the people gathered wood.

When they were finished, the Chief came out and looked around. Studied the sky. "We need more wood!" he told them. "It's going to be bad!"

He went back in and slammed the door. The people gathered wood, dead branches, twigs, anything they could find.

The Chief came back out and ordered the hunters to ride out and get some deer for food. He told the women to gather plants and to store away. The winter would be bad, he said.

Eventually, one of the women got curious. So she knocked on the Chief's door.

"Come in!" he said.

She went in. "Chief, how do you know that it's going to be a bad winter?" she asked.

He turned his TV to Channel 12 news and the weatherman said: "It's going to be one of the worst winters ever on record! The Indians are gathering firewood like crazy!"

:D

WooHoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I watched the weather this morning, online~
Where I live, historically, we have a 50% chance of snow for Christmas!

That's funny.

If it stays cold we will have snow for Christmas and we are supposed to get more snow this weekend.
