Good Day, Friends; We have Weekly Inspiration viewers from around the world reading this message, and sooner or later, everyone will be affected by political advertising that various candidates use to elevate themselves and to ridicule their opponents. Many persons who know the teachings of Christ will see that the type of behavior that many candidates and their committees exhibit is not a proper way to act. In the New Testament, in Paul's letter to the Philippians, Chapter 2 verses 3-4 (NLT), he mentions, "Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. 4 Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too."
How amazing it would be to have politicians conduct themselves as Paul's instructions state. Perhaps the mud slinging and harsh words could be turned into kindness and unification to reach a common goal.
