Good Day, Friends; When we read the Book of Matthew in the New Testament, we see a series of chapters recounting what Christ had taught to His followers from His own ministry. When the Apostle Matthew wrote this gospel from around 80 to 90 AD, it was with a comforting manner very similar to Christ's own teaching methods. In Matthew Chapter 6, we are shown that material possessions can be a weight to bear and may prevent us from devoting proper time to God in prayer and worship. We are also shown that regardless of how many troubles and worries we have in our lives, God will help us through today so we can better deal with tomorrow. Matthew 6:34 (NLT), "So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today." Don't worry - God is watching over you. May God Bless.
