What does this really mean? As referenced from the Greek language wording that the New Testament was originally written in, this means that there will be false teachers who will not teach as God wanted His Word to be taught, but they will manipulate and distort scripture and add man-made doctrine, based upon their agenda and bias. With an estimated 36,000 different Christian denominations currently, we can see this all around us these days. The best protection against deception is for each of us to do our own diligent Bible Studies to know what God's Word actually said in it's original form before 'man' changed those words. When you hear something from the pulpit that may not sound correct, do your own independent studies to verify that what you are being told is accurate and without bias.
