God simply wants your love and dedication because he is your Father - the one who created you. His love for you will be unending if you simply accept His earthly son, Jesus Christ, as your savior. Christ is the unseen head of every Christian household, the unseen guest at every Christian meal and the silent listener to every Christian conversation. Christ's name in Hebrew is Emmanuel - "God With Us." God is with you and He will protect you from evil if you believe upon Him and ask Him for His help in prayer, in the name of Christ.
