Is anyone perfect?

I guess nobody can answer this question.

Did you know Marilyn Monroe was originally not a blonde and her name was Norma Jeane, and she had brown hair. It would take hours and hours for her to do her makeup and hair.
 
Poor Marilyn, schizophrenic mother, no dad, growing up in many foster homes. No idea about her grandparents, though she had a half sister. She was given to the world since her own family could not love her.

While she perfected her image it took a lot of time and effort and fake breasts! She once said that Hollywood is a place they pay you a thousand dollars for a kiss and fifty cents for your soul.

As for Arthur Miller, (her third husband) he was cruel to her when she didn't live up to his ideal. The first was too young and the second beat her up.

I am horrified that any husband would hit his wife for some silly reason like not having his dinner on time. As happens in many many households. Do men not know how tough it is to run a household esp if wives are not even given a budget. This is why women need to work!
 
I read a bio about Dusty Springfield. She had blonde wigs too, and spend hours getting ready. Dusty was not her real name. She ended up with very bad mental illness because of this. Not the hair as such but having to be two people/personas... perfect for her fans, and then just her ordinary self Mary O'Brien.

If she'd stayed Mary O'Brien (glasses, brown hair, geeky looking) she would not have gotten a look in, despite her amazing voice. I think it proves that people seem to care more about beauty than brains.
