Question..

Although that is very nice...Jesus didnt come on the seen until the New Testament...so how do you figure it was Jesus in the O.T. wasnt it God. I understand all Jesus and God are the same but God is Supreme.

I recall my pastor informing me that in the Old Testament it is said that "THE Angel of the Lord (or LORD, however many capitols are in for God in the OT) spoke...." and that it is thought that "THE" is refering to Jesus, since he wasn't called Jesus yet.

GOD’S UMBRELLAS

The ultimate use for an umbrella is to provide protection.
God in His love for mankind and for His children, the church, has provided several umbrellas of protection.

GOD HIMSELF IS THE ULTIMATE UMBRELLA
Deuteronomy 33:27, 46:1-2, Psalm 91:1-2, Colossians 2:13-14

GOD’S WORD IS GOD’S UMBRELLA
1 Peter 1:23, Psalm 119:11, 2 Timothy 3:16-17

GOVERNMENT IS GOD’S UMBRELLA
Romans 13:1-5

THE CHURCH IS GOD’S UMBRELLA
Matthew 16:18

THE CHURCH ELDERS ARE GOD’S UMBRELLAS
1 Peter 5:1-3, Hebrews 13:17

HUSBANDS ARE GOD’S UMBRELLAS
Ephesians 5:23, 25, 1 Peter 3:7, Numbers 30:10-15

PARENTS ARE GOD’S UMBRELLAS
Proverbs 22:6, Proverbs 29:17, Ephesians 6:4, Numbers 30:3-5, 1 Timothy 3:4-5

Shelli said:
Jesus was affrontive, never chatted, remonstrated all He spoke with about their sin and Godlessness, followed Proverbs 10:19, constantly taught the Law, never taught about Grace before He was resurrected, never fit in with any other people in a conventional manner, and never acceded to the spurrious sentimentalities of people.

Shelli.

affrontive?
Absolutely not!
You are saying Jesus was abusive, angry, critical and disrespectful?!
No, MY Jesus was none of these things!
He spoke the Truth with confidence but he was very loving and compassionate.
Who would have been drawn to a cold, dry, unsympathetic, unfriendly man who claimed God as His Father?
I think he fit in with people.
He never sinned but He surely spent the majority of His time with sinners!

Where in the Bible does it say He never chatted?
