Jezebel in Today's Time?

"There Is No “Jezebel Spirit” – Let’s Talk About What the Bible Really Says
In the New Testament, the name Jezebel is used symbolically in Revelation 2 to describe a woman in the church at Thyatira who is accused of leading others into immorality and idolatry, drawing a comparison to the historical Jezebel. The name "Jezebel" has since become synonymous with a wicked, power-hungry, and immoral woman, often used as a derogatory term. Some modern interpretations suggest her portrayal may reflect a broader biblical discomfort with powerful women who defy patriarchal authority, and her "sin" may have been her refusal to yield power and her defiance of male rulers."

Do you think Jezebel is "alive and well" Today?

And if so ...

How could the "spirit of Jezebel" affect us Today?

Do you have any thoughts on Modern Day "Jezebel"?

Do you have any stories (closer to Home) that you could share, about a "Jezebel"?

America had a Jezebel for a presidential candidate in 2016.

There are 2 names that I've noticed parents in western culture don't give their children: Judas and Jezebel.

I am actually praying on how to handle a "Jezebel Spirit" which is "close to Home" ...

For many years I have been accused, abused, and very confused!

As my Faith and Trust in Father God grows, I seem to be seeing things clearer ...
Yet I still need to know more about "modern day Jezebels" and how to handle "them"

My Sister is a Child of God and during a sharing with her, she actually brought up "Jezebel" (which I knew little about) and describes her as a demonic spirit who possesses people. The people she possesses do not necessarily know that they are possessed, therefore "it is not the person who is doing the harm, but rather the demonic spirit".

The behaviour that I have been experiencing first hand, is linked to years of addictions, alcoholism and drug abuse ...

The traits that I am recognising are:

roller coaster relationship (up and down, hot and cold)
yet very charming to strangers
very abusive and manipulative to loved ones
naming, shaming and blaming
mood swings
insatiable expectations
no gratitude, only more and more exhaustible demands, as the years go on

The loved one being described has been through rehabilitation and has been sober for two + years

I have prayed for her for many years, and am so grateful that she is now sober. I so wanted a good relationship ...
However, she seems to be becoming cleverer and cleverer in her deceitful ways, through manipulation, and projections. This only happens when we are alone.

It disturbs me that I fall for
the projections, the manipulative and dishonest talk ... I guess it is because I am willing to be "wrong"

I do believe that things are shifting for me, but I am not there just yet!

I know that Father God, Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit will Guide me, because they Are : )

It is a difficult time, and I know that I will get through this ...
I am sharing this because I would like to get more clarity from the Group, thanks Linda
