Just Let Go

Poem#5 Just Let Go

Theirs some days it seems we’re walking a tightrope

That’s stretched across the world a million feet high

With a gust of wind we’ve fallen barley holding on

Fear grips our white knuckles while theirs a hand reaching down

Hear myself say I cannot take the hand, without looking up to see

If we had enough faith too look up we see He’s already holding us

Theirs some days it seems we’re climbing a Mountain up to Heaven

That’s higher then Everest and with just one slip we’re falling to hell

Oops, what we thought was a toe hold gave way, we’re barely holding

We ye of little faith don’t need to reach up for us to be pulled up

Just got to let go, stop holding on, stop fighting Him lifting us up

Rest on High with His Might Wings like Eagles

Pride grips our white knuckles while theirs a hand reaching down

Hear ourselves say I cannot take the hand, without looking up to see

If we had enough faith too look up I’d see He’s already holding me

We of little perfection don’t need to work until crashing and burning

Just got to let go our Sins, with confession He’s just in forgiveness

Through Grace He’s already saved us with His out stretched Hands

Just let go, Believing in the Son of God as stated in John 3:16

Has caught us in His Love which will never let go, so be still

He’s with us where ever we go and greater is He then the world
