Keep Speaking

Sometimes it is difficult and tiring to write or speak on what God wants us to tell others. It seems so many of the things God’s people need to hear are already being spoken out on through other men and women that He has also called to the task.

It can feel like you’re a broken record endlessly repeating the same things. It can be depressing to know that so many won’t listen, and incredibly frustrating that many will listen and do nothing with it.

This can true whether it involves a blog entry, sharing the gospel, prepping a sermon, or writing out a lesson.

Regardless of how we feel at a given moment, we are called on by our Lord to speak out. We are to do it on His terms and at His times. He is our Master and we are His servants. He commands and we are to obey.
If there is a question of whether we obey Him, ourselves, social expectations, or anything else, then we have to ask ourselves who our master really is. Sometimes the answer hurts. That is when we have to repent, turn, and follow Him regardless of the seeming cost.

Our time on this world is short. Whether we have a few days left or a century matters little.

How we feel right now is insignificant when compared to the Joy of eternity in the presence of our Savior.

Keep speaking. Keep writing. Keep sharing. God knows what others need to hear, when they need to hear it, and who they need to hear it from.

Amen, thank you.
