Abdicate.........would you post the Bible verses that confirm your comment of Cain and Abel being twins?
Genesis 4:1-2 (KJV)
And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD. And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

ותסף means literally "and she continued" or "and again she bore" as a continuation of the first act.

But if God is omniscient surely he knew what their choice would be. Why put a temptation there if he knew they would take it.

Did God know????

“For he looks to the ends of the earth and sees everything under the heavens.” (Job 28:24)
“Do you know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge.” (
Job 37:16)
“Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; his understanding is beyond measure.” (
Psalm 147:5)
“Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!” (
Romans 11:33)

WHY?

So if God knew that Adam and Eve were going to sin and yet he created them anyway, it must mean that the fall of mankind was part of God’s sovereign plan from the beginning; no other answer makes sense given what we have been saying thus far.

The Million Dollar question.

Isaiah 45:7 (KJV)
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these [things].

God does what He wishes because He can.

Why create evil if you are benevolent? That's a million dollar question.

Adam wasn't biologically the same as us?
His DNA was perfect, ours is not. He was at one time sinless, we are not. He changed after the fall by eating something which changed his DNA to what we have today, though we are degrading the longer we're on the planet.

I don't think that is the case brother. I believe you may be reading into that a little bit of what you want it to say.

Your thinking as I understand is that............
“I have gotten a man with the help of YHWH. .....She again bare his brother Abel...."
The Hebrew word used for again (yasaph) is an adverb meaning to continue to do a thing.
You are accepting the idea that there is NO TIME FRAME when the Scriptures say...."She again bare his brother Abel" because the Hebrew word "Yasaph" implies (Implies. That is not accepted as fact but it IMPLIES) that Eve gave birth to Cain and continued to do the same thing by giving birth to Abel.

Nope. That is just a real stretch.

Sorry, I disagree. But that's ok, it has no bearing on anything that matters.

Ab answered and I agree.
Love is the catalyst for God's creation. He loves us, He created us to have fellowship with us. Adam broke the fellowship as a result of his choices. Jesus was sent to bring us back to fellowship. The OT is revealed in the NT, the NT is a revelation of the OT. They both point to Jesus.

Carnivores are not herbivores. I just don't see how an animal that evolved (or was created) with every aspect of its body to kill and eat meat to survive can be expected to eat grass or straw. Impossible.
That's your problem, you believe in evolution. God created everything perfect. Nothing died until after the fall when God cursed the earth. Things changed. Like the animals now feared man. They could no longer communicate. Everything dies. Did you not read the verse I posted in Isaiah that says it'll be that way in the future when the Lord returns?

Is there somewhere in the bible that says this?
