On the last Saturday in November our church had a remembrance service to remember people who have lost someone this year and before
with this in mind I wrote this
Lost, in a Crowed Room
Here, stood alone
Lost in a crowded room
People talking
Love
Caring
Condolences
But all I here is
Blah blah blah
Stood alone,
Lost in a crowded room,
I know I’m not the first,
I know I’ll not be the last,
But,
It feels so raw, so sore
No balm seems to calm
Try as hard as they might, no one really is able to reach in and know how alone I feel
No words can fully express,
Now you have gone,
Didn’t think It would affect me so,
Didn’t think I’d feel this way,
Angry with my self
Now you have you have gone
And left this world behind,
Didn’t have time to say…
Now there’s no more time,
Stood here not lonely, but alone
Lost in a crowded room,
Seem to be disappearing,
Overwhelmed with sympathy
They ask,
But It’s not how Im feeling
But will I ever feel again?
Here, stood alone
Lost in a crowded room
I’m struggling today…
But that’s alright,
It’s ok to struggle,
There will be other days,
Don’t know what they can do
What they can say?
To help, ease the loneliness
To help ease the pain
Except to say…
“I’m here,
standing next to you,
Laughing with you
Crying the pain out with you,
“I’ll never leave or forsake you”
What more can one say?
