Member/Guest ratio

An Assumption:

Many members will browse without logging in and thus be counted as a guest until and unless they log in to do something that is only for members like post or view basic information about a member by clicking on their Icon, etc.

Thanks for the question. The vast majority of 'guests' fall into two categories. They are either known and identifiable search engine "spybots" OR they are un-named covert "spybots". Search engine administrators program their systems to monitor all openly visible areas of Forums, chat rooms and websites to gather data. There have been times, early in weekday mornings, when there are well over 450 'bots' looking at CFS. They can not data mine any member profiles or personal information, because of the way that this forum software is configured.

Only a small fraction of 'guests' are actually individuals looking at CFS threads and posts. Also, there is an option in every member's preferences and settings menu that can hide their on line presence here at the Forum.
